Colin

Buchanan

Bio

Early in his career, as a member of the indie rock bands Paper Lions and Sorrey, PEI’s Colin Buchanan fell in love with the studio and made it his home. A multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Colin brings a deep understanding of song structure and arrangement to every session. He honed his production sensibilities working alongside such industry heavyweights as Andrew Maurey (Petey USA, Madi Diaz) and Howard Reddekop (Tegan and Sarah, New Pornographers). A recent trip to France to study at Studio La Fabrique with Gregg Wells (Taylor Swift, Adele) inspired Colin to expand his vision, his taste, and honour his deep love of making records.

Colin Buchanan is a ECMA Multi Award winner as well as a 2025 Juno Award winner.
